We are fully committed to teaching and have a Registrar in Post. We also teach Pre-Registration House Officers and Undergraduate Students.

We are a suburban General Practice with pockets of deprivation caring for 9,000 patients. We use shared list system of six Partners (four Trainers). We have purpose built premises which were newly extended in the autumn of 1999. We are computerised for appointments, Lab links and access to the Internet. We have a full-time Practice Manager and a full complement of Reception Staff.

The Registrar would have his/her own room and would be fully supervised. He/she shall be guided through Summative Assessment and NRGGP. There is a half day release each week to South Birmingham Scheme at Selly Oak Hospital Post-graduate Centre. Out of hours care is provided through South Doc co-operative, of which we are active members.

There is a full Primary Health Care Team including Practice Nurses, Health Visitor, District Nurses and Psychiatric Nurses. We have access to local Community Physiotherapy.

We operate Child Health Surveillance, Diabetes, Asthma and Family Planning Clinics.
