Situated in the popular, busy suburb of Harborne on the south side of Birmingham, accessible to the amenities of the city, and open areas of the city parks, the practice offers the opportunity to experience General Practice and enjoy your outside interests.

Our list of 7,200 patients is made up predominantly by working families, but with a large number of elderly, living in their own homes. Ethnic groups such as Asian and Afro - Caribbean are represented, though the population is predominantly Caucasian.

We have a dynamic four-doctor partnership and practice team committed to high standards of care. We work from a modern, purpose built premises, that opened in November 1996 (community heath teams on site). We have a dedicated registrar room; with brand new videoing equipment the practice is fully computerised, using the EMIS software system. We support registrars who aim to complete MRCGP in their year with us. On call out of hours is delegated to the deputising service run Primary Care Surgeries.

As a relative newcomer to training (we started in 1997), we offer an up to date approach, with the curriculum shared between the two training partners, with the involvement of the other members of the partnership and practice team.  Regular clinical, audit and business meetings offer insight into the organisation and administration of General Practice Specific interests of the partners include, diabetes, hypertension, ophthalmology, family planning, rheumatology and practice computing.

We can offer an experience of General Practice in a caring environment, with the aim of maintaining high standards, innovation and the development of all members of the practice team
